Filming at iconic Abney
Abney Park Trust is proud to partner with Hackney Film Office to encourage filming and photography at this unique location. Abney Park is one of the 'Magnificent Seven' cemeteries, and a highly atmospheric setting for film and photo shoots, boasting a myriad of monuments, a gothic chapel, narrow paths and a mature woodland.
Whilst there are sensitivities when filming in cemeteries, Abney Park is a film-friendly location with a positive approach to projects of all sizes.
Please note that during the extensive restoration project (information can be found here), film and photography is not permitted at Abney Park. However, once complete, in late 2023, we look forward to welcoming film-makers and photographers back.
